February half term cookery at Berkhamsted Basecamps for children aged 7-14 years, the classes run from the Castle Campus Food Tech room at Berkhamsted School, please book directly with them via this link to Berkhamsted Basecamps


Friday 22 February 2016 from 9.30am-4.30pm, please bring a packed lunch with you with no nuts


We'll be learning all about pastry and patisserie and you'll learn to make different pastries such as shortcrust, rough puff and strudel.  We’ll make:



  • Apple strudel

  • Freeform rhubarb pie

  • Eccles cakes

  • Samosa pasties 


The children will work in teams and will all take home the same dishes although some of the tasks may be split age appropriately.


Aprons, ingredients and suitable utensils to take your goodies home with you will be provided.
