Molecular gastronomy with an Easter twist.

The workshop takes place from 9.30am-4.30pm at Berkhamstead Basecamp and is suitable for children aged 7-14 years.  Children must bring a packed lunch and bookings need to be made directly with Berkhamsted Basecamp.

Aprons, ingredients and suitable utensils to take your goodies home with you will be provided.

Easter version of our popular Whizz Bang Food workshop - molecular gastronomy like Heston Blumenthal.  We've adapted the classic recipes to include some Easter goodies; a carrot cake disguised as a carrot plant in it’s own pot; fizzing mini egg rocky road.  Then we’ll make the classic molecular gastronomy recipes - including  caviar pearls, instant spaghetti jelly, spherified fruits, deconstructed chocolate powder that becomse chocolate again in your mouth, egg-speriments - all using molecular gastronomy ingredients and techniques
